Value investing emphasizes buying businesses at bargain prices relative to equity, sales, and cash flow. This approach forces one to appraise the purchase of a stock based on the value of the overall company. If there are few values to be found or if we feel that security prices do not compensate an investor for the overall risk, we are comfortable holding cash.<\/p>\n
